Lily's promise to each of her clients is to always provide a service which is focused on their personal and individual needs. In order to maintain a holistic and high quality approach to her treatments, Lily has a code of conduct which focuses on five core philosophies.

Each of these five philosophies embody the essence of Lily's practice and forms the supporting framework which ensures that you, as the patient, remain the focal centre point of each treatment. This means that each treatment is customised to your needs and aimed at fine-tuning delicate balances within your individual physical, mental and spiritual self in order to restore health within your body.
Lily's treatments are drawn from her professional expertise working within NHS healthcare settings in London and Beijing as well as in private Chinese medicine clinics in London and Manchester .

Lily will refer you on to your medical specialist if necessary - Lily believes that Chinese medicine should complement Western medicine and work alongside it rather than as an alternative to it.
Lily will refer you to another complementary practitioner if other therapies are felt to be more suitable for your symptoms.
Lily continues to build on expertise and knowledge by frequently attending courses and seminars.
All feedback, positive or negative, is encouraged in order for Lily to continue to build on the high standard of treatments already offered to her patients.
Lily strives to provide affordable and high quality treatments to everybody in the community.
Lily will support local charities and promote wellbeing through local complementary therapy initiatives.
No animal products are used in herbal medicines prescribed by Lily.
No banned products are used in any herbal medicines or treatments given by Lily.
You will not be forced to take part in any treatment with Lily that you do not feel comfortable with or is against your personal ethics.
You will not be forced into treatment with Lily if she does not believe that Traditional Chinese Medicine is appropriate for your condition.
You will always be informed about the treatments most suitable for you and how many treatments you are likely to need for you to notice improvements.
Lily will not try to sell you treatments or herbal medicines she does not believe will benefit you.
Treatment prices are shown clearly on all promotional material and in the treatment room premises so you know exactly what costs to expect.
You will always be welcome to ask questions about any aspect of the treatment, whether it is about the treatments themselves or about Lily's experience and training.
Prior to prescribing every Chinese medicine, Lily makes rigorous checks for registered interactions between herbs and Western medicines to ensure patient safety.
Chinese herbal suppliers are only used if they have been recommended by and have passed quality assurance tests set by UK herbal medicine regulatory bodies
Only single-use sterilized acupuncture needles are used with registered disposal of all sharps with the council.
Lily stays regularly updated on the latest herbal safety news with the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
All treatments will comply with the Professional Code of Practice as defined by the UK professional regulatory bodies.
