Join in for a relaxing day in the country on the DENS circular 10-mile sponsored walk. 

The route will start and finish at Berkhamsted School, in the centre of the town. From there, it will be an easy stroll along the Grand Union Canal to Cow Roast before cutting across country to Aldbury. After that the walk crosses the Ashridge Estate before returning to Berkhamsted, passing the Castle. There are several places to stop to grab a bite to eat along the way including pubs in Aldbury and a cafe on the Ashridge estate. If you'd prefer, you can even bring your picnic lunch to enjoy en route.
